The opening event of this year’s Pembrokeshire Fish Week will take place at Lawrenny on 24th June with a Big Day Out Event on Sunday, 25th at Scolton Manor. Fish Week events will be held throughout the County, running until 2nd July.
The Pembrokeshire Fish Week began 18 years ago as a small event focused around a national sewin competition in three West Wales rivers. Since then the festival has grown into a much anticipated annual event attracting over 31,000 people to Pembrokeshire.
Activities and events take place throughout the 9 day festival with something for all ages from gourmet fish evenings in local restaurants to rock pooling for children.
Two weeks later, on 15th-16th July, Pembrokeshire will be playing host to the internationally renowned PI Powerboat Welsh Grand Prix of the Sea at Milford Haven.
