With four glorious sandy beaches, wonderful cobbled streets and grand pastel coloured Georgian houses standing proudly on the cliffs, Tenby is one of the jewels in Pembrokeshire’s crown. Its castle beach has been awarded the title of best beach in Europe and now the resort has come top in a list of the top European cities and destinations to visit in 2015.
The travel site, GoEuro, has ranked the beautiful town ahead of Ostend, Interlaken , Kiel and others; acknowledging the walled town’s historic Norman setting as a key factor in its attraction.
According to the website: “First becoming popular as a summer seaside destination in Victorian times, Tenby is a medieval harbour town located on Wales’s beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. Its Welsh name ‘Dinbych-y-Pysgod’ means ‘little town of the fishes’ or ‘little fortress of the fish’. It is officially located on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is one of the nationally recognised coastal trekking paths stretching from nearby Amroth to Poppit Sands. In the Summer the numerous beaches are some of the best places to enjoy the sun and sand. There are four beaches found in Tenby alone: the North Beach, Castle Beach, South Beach (which all have Blue Fag status) and Harbour Beach (which is accessible when the tide goes out). The old town is also full of historical sites, shops and ice cream parlours, as well as pubs and restaurants. There are also regular ferries to nearby monastic Caldey Island, where beautiful views can be taken in while enjoying a lovely Summer picnic”.

We then accompany our clients to view the properties and, once they have decided on one they wish to purchase, carry out all the negotiations on their behalf and micro-manage the transaction through to exchange. We can also recommend solicitors, surveyors, tradesmen, etc. and give access to our invaluable little black book of useful contacts.
