The stars are out in force in Pembrokeshire again this month during the filming of “Their Finest Hour and a Half” at locations throughout the county.
Bond girl, Gemma Arterton, Bill Nighy and Richard E Grant were amongst the cast shooting at Freshwater West, Porthgain, Trecwm and Cresselly. The film portrays the story of a British film crew’s attempts to boost morale during World War II by making a propaganda film after the Blitzkrieg. It is directed by Danish director, Lone Scherfig, who also directed “An Education”, winner of the Sundance’s audience award followed by three Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay (Nick Hornby), and Best Actress (Carey Mulligan).
