Aspiring actors are being sought for an, as yet unnamed, period drama to be filmed in Pembrokeshire.
A casting call has gone out from Mad Dog Castings for people available to shoot between now and October. In particular, they are looking for men and women, 16 years and over, with natural hair and 1940s style cuts (e.g. women with long hair and men with short back and sides). The agency is also looking for slim-waisted women and men that are six feet and under with slim chests!
Pembrokeshire has been christened the Welsh Hollywood due to the numerous films and dramas that have been filmed here. In May Pembroke was the location for two film shoots; Bad Education starring Jack Whitehall and Me Before You starring Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter) and other Hollywood blockbusters filmed in Pembrokeshire recently include Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, Robin Hood, Snow White and the Huntsman and Under Milk Wood.
