Pembrokeshire could welcome over a quarter of people from Wales (27%), topping the list of tourist hot spots that Welsh people plan to visit; followed by Llandudno/Snowdon, London and Bath.
75% of people from Wales are choosing UK tourist destinations this year rather than venturing abroad; up from 73% last year, according to the latest survey from NFU Mutual. Their top reasons for choosing to remain in the UK include ease of planning (43%) followed by simply loving what the UK has to offer including the countryside, towns, beaches and history; and the travel being less hassle (28%).
