A new seaside restaurant right on the beach overlooking Oxwich Bay on the Gower Peninsula is due to open in the early Summer.
The restaurant is the brainchild of Neil Kenward and Zoe Agar, the team behind the very successful boutique hotel and restaurant, The Grove, near Narberth, Pembrokeshire where the Executive Chef is Allister Barsby.
Allister joined The Grove in January from 2 Michelin starred Gidleigh Park in Devon where he had been working as Head Chef for 3 years under Executive Chef, Michael Caines.
The pair opened a second very successful restaurant, Coast, on the beach near Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, two years ago. With celebrity chef, Will Holland, in the kitchen, Coast has already notched up a number of accolades including AA Restaurant of the Year in Wales 2015-16.

This is great news Carol – the coal shed is a lovely venue but food can be hit and miss so as regular visitors we’re always happy to see a new restaurant opening!!
