Narberth’s three AA rosette restaurant, The Grove, has pulled off a tremendous coup by appointing Allister Barsby as its new Executive Chef. Allister will be joining The Grove in January from Michael Caines’ famous restaurant, Gidleigh Park in Devon, where he has been head chef for the past three years.
Gidleigh Park is arguable one of the top hotel restaurants in the UK and has held two Michelin stars for 15 years. Allister was part of the team there for 8 of those years.
Allister’s new team at The Grove will include Head Chef Peter Whaley who joined The Grove two years ago from Heston Blumenthal’s famous restaurant, The Fat Duck in Bray.
