The 17th annual Narberth Food Festival takes place on the weekend of Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th September. Narberth is twinned with Ludlow in Shropshire with both towns being noted for their foodie credentials.
Festival goers can look forward to a carnival atmosphere of outdoor music and street food coupled with demonstrations from top chefs including the festival’s patron, Angela Gray, Ludovic Diemegard of the famous Harbourmaster, Aberaeron and Anand George of The Purple Poppadom in Cardiff. There will be stalls selling everything from bread and cheese to shellfish and top quality meat, talks and tasting sessions.
Local residents are quite rightly proud of the lovely town of Narberth which is full of wonderful, small, independent shops and bucks the trend with its thriving high street.
A winner of the gold award for Best Event in the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards (twice), Narberth Food Festival promises a weekend of food and fun, in an around a magnificent marquee.
In 2014, the 7,000 attendees of the festival were treated to a delicious range of food and drinks, with 90% coming from local Welsh retailers.
