An updated report from Provident Personal Credit – “Unbroken Britain” has revealed the safest communities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For the second time running, the beautiful seaside city of Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, West Wales, came out as the safest city. London was deemed the most unsafe.
Britain’s smallest city, St. Davids in Pembrokeshire with a population of less than 1,400, was not included in the survey. Had it been, I am sure it would have come out top with a near perfect score!
The survey, which is carried out every 6 months, asks 2000 UK residents to rate on a scale of 1-10 how welcoming, friendly, polite, safe and happy residents in each city of the UK feel their community is at present.
