House hunters tend to come with a list of requirements concerning the property they are viewing. This can range from wanting a property with a large garden to needing a home located near good schools.
Estate Agents and Property Finders are used to dealing with all sorts of requests but some are just a little bit out of the ordinary.
HouseBeautiful.co.uk asked several property experts to reveal the most bizarre property requests they have received from house hunters and potential home buyers. Read on to find out how weird it gets…
5. No wind turbines or power cables
‘Some of the more unusual things we have been asked to find is a property with no wind turbines within 10 miles, even if they were not visible from the property.
‘Also, another of our clients, who has a severe reaction to anything electro-magnetic, required somewhere with no mobile phone towers, pylons or power cables within a two-mile radius of the property. Indeed they were looking to re-wire the property they bought with the minimum amount of electric cables and even the ones they were going to use had to be insulated with gold which apparently reduces the emissions.’ – Carol Peett, managing director at West Wales Property Finders.
