Two Pembrokeshire coastal towns have emerged as top hotspots for Easter getaways in the UK.
Recent statistics from holidaylettings.co.uk, a Tripadvisor company which is the UK’s leading holiday rental website, Tenby featured at number 2 in the list of the top 10 hotspots; closely followed by Saundersfoot in 5th place.
The list shows that most holidaymakers are choosing to take their holidays in picturesque beach locations as opposed to city breaks with 8 out of the 10 destinations being beach locations. Many of the locations on Holiday Lettings’ list are traditionally popular spots in the summertime but this most recent analysis shows low-season demand is increasing, too.
According to a spokesperson for the company, more and more guests are choosing holiday homes over traditional hotels because of the space, facilities, privacy and incredible value they offer and as demand increases, owners are generating extra income by renting out their homes.
